Option A – Military Strategy and Doctrine Analyze the key campaigns, tactics, and doctrines that shaped Israel’s early military history, and how they evolved from war to war. We'll also examine key strategic debates between leading figures such as Dayan vs. Allon and Rabin vs. Peres, which reflect deeper questions about Israel’s military and political direction. Option B – Life on the Homefront Beyond the battlefield: How did wars affect Israeli civilians, culture, and national identity? Option C – Global Politics and the Cold War Place Israel’s wars in an international context: superpower involvement, regional alliances, and shifting global attitudes toward the conflict.
